Cookies

One cookie: alb_session. It is set when you sign in and it is what keeps you signed in afterwards.

• What it contains — your account identifier and the time it was issued, signed so it cannot be altered or forged. Nothing else. No name, no email, no browsing history.
• How long it lasts — 30 days from your last visit. Using the site renews it, so an active account is not signed out; an unused one lapses.
• How it is protected — HttpOnly (scripts on the page cannot read it), Secure (only sent over HTTPS) and SameSite=Lax (not sent on cross-site form posts).
• How to remove it — sign out, or clear your browser's cookies for this site.

This is a strictly necessary cookie under the ePrivacy rules: it does the job you asked for when you signed in, and nothing else. It is not used to track you across sites and there is no consent banner because there is no non-essential storage to consent to.

We set no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party tags and no pixels.

We store one value in your browser's local storage: albatros.skin.lang — your chosen language.

This is not a cookie. It is never transmitted to our servers, it contains nothing identifying, and clearing your browser data removes it. Under the ePrivacy rules it is strictly necessary for a preference you explicitly set, so no consent is required.

If we ever add analytics, a consent banner will appear before anything is set, and non-essential storage will be off by default.
